Ride on Trowels
Rogers Concrete uses “Allen Ride-On” trowelling machines.
These machines cover a far greater area than conventional finishing machines, enabling us to eliminate 70% of floor joints which in the past have created problems for fork lifts.
Ride on Trowelling Machines are placed on the slab when the concrete has cured to complete the process and give the best finished surface.
The first machine has a set of “pans” on it which when used correctly fill any voids or discreppencies on the face of the slab.
The second machine has a set of “combination” blades on it which closes any holes in the surface.
The third and final machine has a set of “Finishing” blades on it which creates the highly burnished finish.
